Course Description:The Colorado National Monument PARK, between G.J. and Fruita, encompasses most (23 miles) of the course. VERY Scenic!
Location and Facilities:
Grand Junction and Fruita, Colo. Starts west of GJ near Wingate Elementary, and finishes at James Robb Riverfront State Park outside of Fruita.
Distances:
26 miles, 385 yards = MARATHON
Classes, Costs, and Awards:
less expensive if pre-register. About $40. many age-groups, good awards for over-all. THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR THAT THIS RACE WILL BE A MARATHON (formerly a 37k) so COURSE RECORDS WILL BE ESTABLISHED.
