Designed by golf great Lee Trevino, the Appletree Golf Course is a 6,407 yard course with a par-72. The course is located just outside of the city, south of the municipal airport. Combining terraced greens, water hazards and sand traps into the beautiful area surrounding Pike's Peak, the course was given a three-star rating by Golf Digest in 2004.
